Sara and I decided to skip racing for the weekend and go camping at gifford... it was a good decision! we had a blast and it was one of the most relaxing and fun rides I have had in a while! Saturday we rode Hamilton Buttes, Yozoo, and Blue Lake Ridge, about a 25-30 mile loop. Saturday afternoon Dave and Cindy came down and we had a great bbq chicken dinner and some good drinks. Sunday we rode Green Mountain, Spring Creek, High Lakes, about 5 miles on road 23 to council lake, then boundary to Juniper Ridge, down Tongue Mountain, and back to Cat Creek on the Valley trail, about a 70-80 mile loop. We both brought extra gas (1 liter for my 2-stroke and 17 ounces for the 4-stroke) and added it shortly into the ride, sara hit reserve on the valley trail just before adams fork and I hit reserve just getting into camp, so we lucked out!
